NSPGI 2018 has been cancelled.

The Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament for Literacy, scheduled to be held on June 18th, 2018 at Fox Harb’r Resort in Wallace, Nova Scotia has been cancelled due to low registration for the event. Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) gratefully acknowledges the generous support of Fox Harb’r Resort and CKDH Radio in Amherst.

In our ongoing efforts to provide supports for adult learners and practitioners across Nova Scotia, and with the help of our literacy and community partners,
LNS is planning an exciting NEW PGI’s for Literacy event during Literacy Action Week, November 5 – 11, 2018. Watch for our updates in the Fall!

NSPGI 2018

The first Peter Gzowski Invitational Golf Tournament for Literacy (PGI) took place in 1986 with a commitment from the late broadcaster to someday raise $1 million across Canada for literacy programs. Today there are PGIs for Literacy across Canada and our generous supporters within Nova Scotia alone have raised more than $1.5 million.

Literacy Nova Scotia (LNS) the beneficiary of the funds raised through NSPGI, is a non-profit organization that supports literacy promotion and development in Nova Scotia. Net revenue raised at the NSPGI will stay in Nova Scotia and will be used by LNS to support adult learners.

Your support of NSPGI will make a difference to the more than 2,000 adults enrolled each year in 30+ community-based programs across our province.

across the province.
